this genuinely upsets me. I was born in Louisiana and currently go to college in Texas, and yeah, sure, there are some people with glaringly different opinions than some of us. There are racists, lots of sexists, and religiously vocal people here. But the south is not a stereotype. You cannot honestly tell me that every single person above that red line is not a racist/sexist/etc. Wake up. The US is full of opinionated people, which can oftentimes be dangerous, but I can assure you’re they’re not all in the south
